Chris Dods, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Dods is responsible for the overall corporate growth, environmental sustainability, and safety of Clean Earth, Inc., and all Clean Earth subsidiaries. Mr. Dods has more than 20 years of experience in the industrial and environmental services industries. Throughout his career Mr. Dods has developed, implemented, and managed strategic business plans and efficient processes that have dramatically improved profitability and services. His proven ability to drive corporate growth into the multi-millions and ultimately set new standards of achievement has touched several well-known corporations. Mr. Dods graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Resource Management.
Bernard Guerin, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Guerin is responsible for the overall financial stability and growth of Clean Earth, Inc., and its subsidiaries. Mr. Guerin has more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience across various industries such as pharmaceutical, consumer products and manufacturing organizations, where he has developed and implemented business plans generating savings of 40 - 70 million dollars. Throughout his career, Mr. Guerin has been responsible for the strategic planning, financial planning and analysis and financial reporting. In addition, during his career Mr. Guerin has had general management responsibilities and various operational roles, including global supply chain management. He has proven success in improving liquidity, contract negotiation, and cash flow improvement strategies. Mr. Guerin graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with an MBA in finance.
Michael B. Goebner, Senior Vice President Facilities
Mr. Goebner is responsible for all operational and financial aspects for Clean Earth's five soil treatment/recycling facilities Clean Earth of Carteret; Clean Earth of Philadelphia; Clean Earth of New Castle; Clean Earth of Southeast Pennsylvania; and Clean Earth of Maryland and for Clean Earth's hazardous waste facility, Clean Earth of North Jersey. Mr. Goebner has extensive experience running hazardous and non-hazardous waste treatment facilities including permitting, siting and government relations. Mr. Goebner graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resource Management.
Steven C. Sands, Executive Vice President
Mr. Sands is currently President and CEO of the Clean Earth Dredging Technologies, Inc. division. As a co-founder of CEDT, Mr. Sands has developed technology and methods for stabilization and beneficial reuse of dredged materials. Mr. Sands responsibilities include business development and full operating profit and loss for the division. Mr. Sands has 16 years of experience in the environmental industry. Steven Sands graduated from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
James F. Hull, Vice President - Sales and Marketing
Mr. Hull joined Clean Earth in 2006 and is responsible for all company sales and marketing activities. Mr. Hull has been working in the waste industry since 1990. Throughout his career, Mr. Hull has proven himself to be an initiator and developer of business growth and profitability. His accomplishments are evidenced by him being selected three times for Waste Management's Circle of Excellence which recognizes the company's top sales representatives. Mr. Hull was also the recipient of the prestigious Eagle Award naming him Waste Management's top industrial sales representative. Mr. Hull graduated from West Virginia University.
Phyllis Onofrietti, Director of Human Resources
Ms. Onofrietti manages all Clean Earth's Human Resources and related functions. Since 1983, she has held a wide variety of HR management and generalist positions primarily in the environmental, manufacturing and waste industries in both union and non-union environments. She has been successful at integrating Human Resources into companies overall goals and objectives. Ms. Onofrietti has extensive experience in employment law/labor relations, talent management, compensation/benefits, payroll, training analysis/development, organizational behavior, M&A transitioning and legal compliance. She graduated from Montclair University/Pace University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in HR Management/Labor Relations from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT).
Averil B. Rance, Vice President - Environmental, Health & Safety
Mr. Rance has more than 20 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety. Before joining Clean Earth, he worked for Philips Services Corp. (PSC), Phoenix Safety, ABB Environmental Services, Stout Environmental and Enviropact. His extensive knowledge and experience in regulatory compliance, operations, and general management help make Clean Earth a premier provider of environmental services. Mr. Rance graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Engineering, as well as an AHERA Certified Management Planner.
