Project Sponsor: FDP Enterprises, LLC
Completion Date: August 2007
Estimated Value: $26 Million

Project Description
Grading and capping of a historically impacted site including wetlands mitigation and enhancement.

Project Scope
Clean Earth Dredging Technologies contracted with a private landowner to perform remediation on a historically impacted property including wetland areas. The approved remedial action workplan called for the filling and capping of 73 acres of land. Twenty-six acres of wetlands were also enhanced as part of the project. CEDT delivered over 1,500,000 cubic yards of fill material including amended dredged material, recycled soils, bottom ash from coal fired power plants, etc. for grading and capping the site. CEDT
delivered, placed and compacted the dredged material and other fill materials for the entire project. This project, including final capping and wetlands mitigation and enhancement work, will be completed in under three years.

Future development of the site includes expansion of an intermodal container transfer facility.
