Excess water is decanted off while dredged sediments are raked for the removal of large objects. Remaining material is fed through a conveyor belt to a pugmill mixing system where it is introduced to combustion byproducts and proprietary reagent admixtures to create an engineered fill material. Materials treated through dredge stabilization are typically beneficially re-used as fill material.
