Thermal Desorption
Contaminated soil is heated in a rotating dryer causing the destruction of the contaminants.
Bioremediation
Through bioremediation, soil lightly contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons is inoculated with a nutrient and an engineered bacteria that combine to break down the contaminants.
Chemical Fixation
Light and medium hydrocarbon and/or metal contaminated soil is mixed with other earthen material, topsoil, or foundry sand.
Dredge Processing
Excess water is decanted off while dredged sediments are raked for the removal of large objects.
Screening, Physical Treatment, Blending
Incoming materials are treated through sizing and segregation processes to remove unsuitable materials and are subsequently blended with treated back-end materials to generate products capable of beneficial re-use as an engineered fill material.
