EBC CT Program: Soil Contaminated, Now What? Disposal Options for Contaminated Soil
The EBC, a nonprofit organization, was established in 1990 by environmental and energy company executives who began meeting on a regular basis to exchange ideas and share experiences. The EBC was the first organization in the United States established to support and foster the development of the environmental industry.
This EBC Connecticut Program will discuss the decision making process that remediation site contractors should undertake when they encounter “contaminated” soil that has to be managed. . Often, soil samples are tested to satisfy end facility receipt requirements and the analysis presents contaminants that may not have been expected. The presenters will offer solutions for soil that may contain contaminants like petroleum hydrocarbons, lead, PCB’s and PFAS compounds.
This event will take place at Eversource Energy at 107 Selden Street, Berlin CT.
A robust moderated question and answer session between presenters and attendees will take place following the presentations.
We can't wait to see you there!
