For 40+ years, IEA’s Annual Environmental Training Symposium & Conference has excelled in providing a balance of valuable information including environmental compliance guidance, and regulatory and legislative updates.

The conference attendees consist of environmental, health, and safety professionals, NGO representatives, environmental engineers, environmental consultants and attorneys, and government affairs representatives. These attendees represent manufacturing, biotech, and high-tech companies, as well as the Department of Defense, and federal and state regulators.

The 20+ conference sessions vary from year to year depending on current legislation and regulations.

The Industrial Environmental Association (IEA) was formed in 1983 with a mission to promote industry and protect the environment. IEA embodies its role as “A Voice for Manufacturers in San Diego County” by advocating on behalf of industry to influence legislation, facilitating environmental compliance for member companies, and providing related educational opportunities for training and certification. The Industrial Environmental Association actively insists on strong environmental compliance efforts among member companies as a matter of written policy. IEA member companies also share a commitment to create a positive perception of industry in Southern California.
