California to Adopt Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule in 2023


The Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule (HWGIR) streamlines updates to previous hazardous waste regulations to make them clearer for the regulated community. The rule aims to improve regulatory compliance by addressing existing gaps in hazardous waste regulations and providing a better understanding of the rules.

Missouri: The rule is currently being drafted in the stakeholder review period. The proposed publish date is scheduled for Spring 2023. Public hearing dates, comment periods and meeting notices will occur in Spring 2023. The final rule is to go into effect in early 2024.
